Thankfully, we have plenty of time to solve any points disputes. Once we can determine a proper and fair manner in how to deal with it, we can sort out the points and who finishes where in the table. Until then, we continue as we are. I'm currently preparing week 4's matches. A few crackers in there, I'll tell ya now!

How to deal with a no-show who already participated in the early stages so it's fairer on everyone else, and also dealing with a no-show who was a never-even-here-show...there's a lot of differing variables to see to, and I won't lie when I say we WILL ask you buggers who are complaining for the fairest and best solution to the whole no-show points situation.

Tack, if we would give the 6 (or 5) points automaticly, it wouldn't be very fair either. People would get lots of free points and that's not right at all. There is no perfect way to fix the problems the no-shows cause.

Yeah what your suggest RedX , you guys can only show bad things of this League but you don't understand that

Or you could just give everyone in the group the same amount of points (4), since you've already given two that amount. But that's like the same as the first alternative.
In my opinion we should do this with a slight modification. Because in the way Tack suggested, it wouldn't be fair to the people who bothered to land stunts for matches where his opponent didn't show up. So I think we should do like Tack said but instead of just giving those 4 points away for free you post a match for i.e me and Feron, but Feron wouldn't be able to compete cus he has been kicked out. And thus I would have to land a stunt to get my four points. g2g ill elaborate if u cant comprehend.

I came up with the same idea a while ago, we chose not to use it though.

I think it would be fair. People who misses matches (without telling in advance) don't have a good chance to win the group anyway. It's not good that they still are able to make a mess by sitting out some matches. Giving people 6 points would remove any affect from the no-shows. Sorry if I fail to explain exactly what I mean, couldn't write exactly what I meant.

Also I'll never be able to see how a win against a nonexistent stunt could be worth less than a win against a stunt.

But so far I haven't been affected of a no-show, so I guess I shouldn't complain...

@ Mr.Magic: We decided it would be the most painless way to go. Too late to change the point system anyhow.

---------------------------------------------

Alright! All the points are now updated! You should still recount your own points if you want to be sure though, those numbers might not be accurate, we make mistakes too.

If any of you notice something wrong with the points, please, bring it up!

^Dannye should have 6 points. Nice work other than that.

Edit: Btw, approximately which date will the non-group matches start?

Think Brulla deserves lots of sexual favours for updating the tables folks, I couldn't even get my head around a good solution which was as fair as possible!

I thought I posted the quote of where I put forth my suggestion

Anyway my suggestion is simply that the judges give away as many points as they feel that the stunt is worth.
If they see that it's just a crappy 'last 5 min before deadline' stunt, they might give it 2pts. If they see that the stunter put a lot of effort into the entry and think the stunt is good they could give 4, 5 or 6 points. Simplicity!

Sounds a bit messy.. but it's way more fair in my opinion, referring to what I said above.. (crappy last minute stunt=4pts)

Edit: Read above that Brulla said it was too late, well hopefully next gtasl then.. cause this was really unfair

The time it takes to do a stunt isn't what matters. Hell, Kert for example has pulled off AMAZING stunts after 5 minutes of trying (I'm remembering an old msn convo with him lol). We look at the creativity a stunter shows and how well he has pulled off a specific challenge, simple as that. The time it takes to do a stunt isn't a factor. Took me 7 months to do a BSM one time and folk didn't really enjoy it, they preferred another stunt of mine in that same vid that only took about an hour!
