I think most people would get a bit bored halfway through if the vid was that long
Yeah, I'd watch it once and never again.

Yep, I think the GTASL2 vid became too long and for that I didn't use all stunts. Plus there will be much more stunts in total for this tournament.

If possible we don't really want to exceed 8-9 minutes in total. Unless they are very good I get very bored with long stunt videos. If we took 20 stunts from the group round and all of the stunts from the knock out stage there would be 45-50 in total I think. That would be a 7 minute long (approximately) main part. 20 stunts from the group stages would be the best 4 per week. Comments and suggested adjustments? My estimations might be a bit wrong by the way.

NOTE:

From now on, the new submission rule will apply:

- If a stunter has uploaded and posted his entry, he can't change it after that.

Be sure not to post your submission unless you are 100% sure you won't keep working on it.

Before you upload your reps, please compress them into a .rar or a .zip.

NOTE:

We have added a new rule:

- If a participant has been seen on GTAS during his match, but doesn't post a submission before the deadline, 2 points will be taken from him as a penalty. (Only applies if the other opponent submitted an entry)

This rule (suggested by Dannye) is put in use immediately. The rule will do justice to the people who's opponents deliberately don't submit anything, just to give the opponent 4 points instead of the possible 6.

The following people have been thrown out of the league due to inactivity/not giving a shit:

ZeroX
Yama
BoxXx
Wozzie
Feron

Kingjad and I are really disappointed to the amount of no-shows we've had so far in the league. We really hope all of you guys will try to commit to this thing in the next rounds.

The decision what will happen with the remaining matches these guys should of had will be posted later on.

Picking stunts for the video is really hard already, seriously. There have been a lot of awesome entries so far, keep up the good work guys. We are trying to limit the group stage so that no one has more than one stunt so as many people get in as possible. However we also are trying to limit it time wise by not having too many stunts, it's proving a nasty process! We have a good idea of the stunts getting used from these first two weeks now though. We are thinking hard about making as varied a video as possible, so not just putting our personal favourites in but trying to get a good balance of everything in there so it will be a good watch to basically everyone hopefully! We'll keep you updated with video stuff as the competition proceeds.

Also, we are probably going to only use player skins, not bike skins. This will make sense as many stunts aren't in bikes anyway and it will save us a lot of work. If we could make some means of collecting all the skins for this competition that would be handy.

Sigh...this is problematic. Here's the dilemma facing us organisers.

Those who were no-shows got points awarded against them, so 4 automatic points for example to the stunter who was there. But after two no-shows in a row, these guys are booted out (feron, ZeroX, yama etc).

However, it feels unfair that stunters were able to pick up 4 points against the no-shows while the rest of the stunters in the section didn't get a chance to pick up a default 4 points. See the problem here?

Wierd, I was thinking that actually. Well I see one thing fair for the people that had absolutely no show the last 2 weeks. Just add 4 points to everyones scores.

We probably will end up doing that, actually, but I'm just highlighting the difficulties we organisers are facing thanks to those who only took this half-heartedly

Why don't the judges decide on how many points the one who showed up should get, based on how good they found the stunt he submitted.
