I agree with Tac but yeah maybe 6 points is too much so you can give solid 5 points .

Now hang on guys, for those who actually had matches where their opponent showed up, let the judges deal with it. Me and Brulla will discuss the matter of how many points for the no-show matches tomorrow. Obviously a few people are feeling agitated with it so while this is still the first week, and no precedent has been set yet, we can try and work on a solution everyone is happy with.

mm i wasnt a no show allegedlyi was 4 hours late but i have two excuses: 1: according to my standards and time zones it was only in the late 60s of hours past. and second i was fighting a fire since 6 am which would be i think 70 hours in accordign to your standards until i got home to upload thevid. (at the time i posted it) of course i guess i have no choice but to accept that is my fault thAT i couldnt find another time of course. (im not trying to complain) but i was not a no show, just a late entry so i dont know whether or not charnel will recieve the assigned points for a no show or what.

There is another option, which is kinda a mix of the two approaches...

Give 4 points to the person who shows up, and
Subtract 2 points from the person who did not show up.

When discussing this with Tack, Neo and TD earlier on MSN Tack suggested a points deduction idea. This is what I will discuss with Brulla tomorrow.

It's very complicated, UtterGarbage, which is WHY me and Brulla will discuss this thoroughly tomorrow! We do realise there are unique circumstances at times. Please let us deal with it the best way we can.

But i think 70 hours is a big amount of time and you know about this match so you can  be prepared.

72 hours.

The timing was meant to be simple for people. As I said in an older post in this topic, think on page 10:

If I post a challenge at 2pm UK time on a Thursday, then the deadline will be 2pm on a SUNDAY. Basically, the time I post a challenge, you have precisely 4 days (2pm-midnight Thursday, all of Friday, all of Saturday and Sunday until 2pm UK time) to land your challenge. This was done so people wouldn't be that confused.

Perhaps its worth considering the rule change:

(From):
Dannye's SCM is allowed along with any lonely mods, 24hr sunshine mods, spawners and distance limiters.

(To something along the lines of):
Dannye's SCM is allowed [as long as whatever you do with it is plausible without the mod. Eg. If you are gonna spawn/teleport onto a roof, be sure its possible to get up there properly!] along with any lonely mods, 24hr sunshine mods, spawners and distance limiters.

To most of us it seems obvious, but I already saw in one of the threads someone mentioning that because the USCM was allowed, it was okay to have a car on a possibly-unreachable roof.

On another note, great first round organisers/judges! Bar the occasional no-show, it was great!

I agree with Tackleberry. But at the same time it feels wrong that Cdarmy would get exactly as many points as me and FIGHTER just because Feron didn't show up.

Precisely my opinion.

Thanks for the suggestions dudes, although it would of been better to speak up when the whole format idea was pitched. We will talk about it and we'll let you know what will happen.

Anyhow....we've now finished the first round! Every match has been judged and the votes counted. Great job people! Especially the judges, thanks for the BIG help.

For the people who didn't show up for their matches...better pull yourselves together for the next round or you will be thrown out of the league.

Good luck to everyone in the next round!

Anyone knows something about ZeroX? I'll have my next match against him and I'd really like to compare him to myself. I can tell you this is the match I keep for the most important in my group. He was one of my old favourites and now I don't know how good is he still. I hope he'll be here.
I'm gonna send a PM to him in 5 mins.
