when modifying TXD's can you increase the scale of the pictures and save them like that to increase quality as long as you increase the alpha's to the same scale ?

I'm not to sure on what you mean. But yeah if you scale the image bigger + the alpha, the body should get more HQ.

If you increase the body map size, you have to do sharpen and stuff to get it all nice and high quality.

k, so i made the parts of the bike and whenever i try to import them i get this message:

Stream read error
Exception class: EReadError

i even tried putting them back to their original size, anyone know what the problem is ?
sorry is i'm being bothersome

Save it as the format PNG.

Also, what size did you make it. You might have used a "forbidden" size. The scale goes like this:

8x8 - 16x16 - 32x32 - 64x64 - 128x128 - 256x256 - 512x512 - 1024x1024 - 2048x2048

2048x2048 is the highest someone has skinned to, and it would probably lag you're PC to death.

So, I say skin with 512x512, but that's a personal preference.

Add a blank alpha, save, reopen then import the normal image.
