I think everything depends on the camera, white balance, lightness, etc. and of course the recorded video.

There cant be any ultimate solutions since there is no standard color balance/lightness and stuff in every camera.

More or less you should adjust every single clip.

Everything depends on there was your footage filmed. If there is alot of light you must add some contrast and make it darker etc. If it's too orange shiny add some blue color etc.

You just have to learn it yourself, it's not hard tho. I recommend using Magic Bullet FX (aka Movie Looks), it has great ammount of premade colors for real life footage. It costs alot, but if you manage to get on msn I could affrod you some by palpal

i see..

i know i have to adjust each and each clip to achieve best results..
but i was looking for a tut on how to come up with a color correction like i see in the movies, like look at lord of the rings or maybe on some quality music videos..

@all: i know the camera really matters, i have a digicam, it has a 320X240 videomode for 60 seconds
its considerably clear enough, what i dont like is the FPS, its only 10FPS

@thefty: thanks man but dont bother  , ive seen a video with a good quality(nice color correction), and i read in the description he only used vegas 5..

@sucker: yeah i know, but id like to make things easier as much as possible
