There are some people who want to be in, but have been denied. What about you make like a trial challenge for them? This could especially be used if you need to get a specific numbers of participants.

They have been denied access not because of skill, but lack of activity or excessive modding history.

But I don't think the trial thing must happen, I think it's quite fair as it is. Was just an idea which popped up.

Yeah, there's nothing to say that they wont blindly sign up, sign off then forget all about GTAS. I think Brulla just wants to be sure that the people signing up will actually compete, as it is fairly more important this year than in subsequent competitions.
