Speedometer mod
« on: February 27, 2008, 04:51:23 PM »
Someone pointed this out long ago, but no one really paid much attention to it. They said that when you have the speedometer mod installed, it allows you to get insane stunt bonuse's ending with a 9 which doesnt happen in a fresh install. For example ive seen crazy get 99ft of height with the mod installed. On a normal game it would register as 100ft, never 99. You may ask yourself why this is important. Well in my opinion every record has a limit. For example, what if the absolute limit for distance record in a clean install of lc is 776 but along comes someone with the mod installed and glitches to 779, meaning people who dont use the mod would be fucked. Opinions? Should it be disallowed? I think so.

huh true. BUT whos to say it wouldnt round down with speedometer mod? its really a bit trick clearl all we can do is remove it. its fine to do for stunting and such a lot of people use it to find a good speed for a stunt there doing and such. but in records its really unessecarry.

To see if it rounds down or up you can just save two different locations and just do a little bump and teleport to the other location, then you can see if it rounds down or up

Don't know, they can only end with 0, 3 and 6. But that rule is only for height and distance though, since you've probably seen that PlethZorb has got 1337 in rotation a few times

I just checked a lot of my screenshot, I always use speedometer and looks like that you can ONLY get 3, 9 with speedometer. Someone else noticed it?

3 is possible without it, 33ft, 43, etc. 159 is not, in a normal game you would most likely get 160 or 156.
