I'm really happy with my Logitech MX518. It costs around 40-50 euros and it's a great mouse for gaming.

The difference between mouses is bigger than you think.

My old one stopped working some months/weeks ago, so I had to use a cheap one which isn't even connected via USB. It completely sucks, not only the ergonomics. For example I can't record in VC, it's impossible to move it in a smooth way. If I move it while recording and put the clips in a vid, you would think I got Parkinson's...

So yeah, keep the suggestions coming. I'm definitely getting a new one too.

EDIT:
Is there a wireless alternative similar to the MX518 model?

Theres probably a Wireless Gaming mouse from Logitech which is pretty much the same. Might be a bit more pricey though.

I need it because I sometimes use my TV as the screen and it's annying trying to use the mouse, especially because of the angle I'm watching the screen if I use the mouse...

How far do the wireless ones usually reach anyway?
