A friend of mine told me that there won't be a PC version of GTAIV. He said that this is what he had read on gamespot and on the official site. I'd check those sites but I gotta go, no time.

Just wanted to tell you that, don't know if it's true.

im sure they'll make a PC compatible version, however they haven't done that with the Stories games... interesting, yet dissapointing

20% of the hype created for GTA:IV is from sites dedicated to modding the PC versions of GTA. There are many advantages of having a PC version of the game, mostly because of the modding communities. It would be a big mistake on Rockstars behalf. But in all honesty most people blurt out shit before they even know what they are talking about so I doubt your friend actually read that. It would have made at least some hype on the GTA modding sites if it was true. But in a way he is right, there has been no mention of a PC version, but there will be after the release like usual.

I think they'll sort out the console versions and then start looking into the PC-version, if at all.

the storie with gta san andreas was the same
they said that gta san andreas was only fpr PS2 and then what? it came out on pc lol
maybe itll come out PC version of GTA IV eventually but it may take some time maybe

hopefully as usual the pc version will be released after a few months becouse to sell more console items.

You can pre-order the PC version in serveral other shops. It says that the release date for the PC version is the 18th March 2007
