If Wii stopped selling, and both consoles 360 and PS3 continues as they do no, no increase or decrease in rate, it would take PS3 until 2018 to catch up.

And on another note I did a google fight between ps3 and xbox360. Ps3 is winning with over 112.000.000 and xbox360 37.900.000. Though I am not for any of these consoles as I still don't know which one I will buy if I buy one.
I have always been a Sony fan but for the consoles atm I would buy a xbox360, not sure .

i'd rather play a better online with slightly less graphics then a crappy online play with slightly better graphics, i cant even tell the difference between the graphics between them both really, i saw a pic from cross format play, ps3 just looks better with light and the fire looks a bit better

OMFGZOR __WaNTeD__: the xbox light is by far more realistic than the ps3 one..
All light related stuff such as bloom shaders etc are weird on the ps3. When i played THP8 (which i own for the xbox 360) on a PS3 i was confused cause sometimes you stand on a ramp and the whole screen turns white cause of the ugly bloom and dof shader.

He is correct about the wireless controller (- no wait... why would you load it on the pc - i got a usb battery too, i could charge it on the pc... but its useless innit?) and HD cables though (Well i saw some retailers giving free HD cables to your 360 but thats something different)

I'm thinking about getting a new HD cause my 11 gb one is full + a memory card with my savegames and profile so I think the 8/11 gb is a little too less. But that's because I download all new demo's to check the graphics and gameplay, so I don't blame xbox

and yeh, xbox owns PS in the Next Gen, I always played Nintendo and PS and I hATED the xbox 2.. but I've crossed over to Xbox's side. (FOREVER )

i only wrote that on 1 picture i saw from a crossplatform game, (dont no which 1 ) and ps3 looked just slightly better but xbox is the best

The only thing I can see I can see better about the 360 is the price.

The internet from what I have seen (I have played both) is just as good on both and the people I know who have played or own both say they notice no problems in both. But as the PS3 doesn't cost to play online AT ALL then the PS3 is better for online IMO.

The graphics are pretty much the same. Hell I can't notice the difference. Anyway gameplay over graphics anyday.

The controller is IMO better on the PS3. More comfortable and sixaxis is a great idea, giving it an edge ahead of the 360 again. It's slightly like the Wii controller which is cool. Also from my experience playing both and from my mates the 360 eats batteries like wildfire while the PS3 which charges the controllers from the console itself lasts from what I've seen lasts longer.

Also, 360's I keep hearing are crashing hear their and everywhere because of the shit fans letting them overheat. This is not the case with the PS3 as the fan is huge and means the PS3 won't crash.

Seriously, everything about the PS3 apart from the price and maybe games (PS3 is getting more great games coming out soon and will definitely continue to have great games) seems to me to be better.

Personally I think they are both great consoles and would recommend either or a Wii as they all have their good points and bad points. The only reason why I say all the above is because people seem to be constantly trying to twist the truth. And to me the only "fanboy" on here seems to be Impakt, loving off the 360 like its the only thing people should buy and the PS3 is shit when both of them are clearly not true. They are both good consoles and it comes down to money or personal preference in which someone to buy.

I disagree with the PS3 online being better. Most games on the PS3 don't support voice, where voice is supported across all games on the xbox 360 and even when you're not in a game. One user account across all games and on the PS3 you have to create different ones for some games. The 360 has one friend list and the PS3 doesn't, you have to use some games for it. Xbox live is top priority for multiplayer games and get's many more exclusive demos or timed exlcuisve demos.
