Freeze frame i Vegas 7.0

Well...I've just started to use Sony Vegas 7.0, so im a noob at it...I can't find out how to freeze a frame and i really need that effect to my new stunt movie...I've been searching on the internet but i can't find any answers. I hope you guys can help the nOOblet(me)

Split one frame off from the rest of the clip, then right click > Make new subclip, then drag it out as long as you want.

lol I just split clip right click>Insert/Remove Envolope > Set Velocity then I right click the start of the split clip and then click "set to" and set it to 0%.

i just split a small portion of the clip than i just copy and paste...

Export single frame as bmp and import as picture, yo.

Rekees, copying one frame, you'll need a lot of frames for just 10 seconds of freeze frame...like 300.

I used to use a picture but VenomX's method is the best, it's easiest to do and you will have no quality loss, unlike with a pic.

New question since im a nooblet at vegas 7.0....How do you put text on clips? You know....like you do it movie maker:/. When i put text on my clips, then it has a black bagground which ruins the clip:(
