frontslash

Every time I try to type a frontslash ( / ) while I'm in a browser, "Find" opens up and whatever I type goes in there.

Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Edit: It stopped, but in case it happens again, I'd still like to know wtf's up?

You must be pressing some kind of hotkeys or something that opens up the find command. Usually that is CTRL+F, but I don't know, there might be some other too. You should check in your browsers help section.

That happens to me sometimes, its like my PC is holding down shift all by itself, so when I click in text, it highlights it and stuff.  I usually just mash my palm against the keyboard in the bottom left and frantically click everywhere, it seems to overload it and it stops happening .
