my fav challenge would be something like: do a tutorial in themed vid style

I think Fox's idea shows promise, actually. Maybe rather than waiting on BJ (no offense), another judge and organizer should be sworn in (if only temporarily).

If I was to offer suggestions - kr3mlin. He's done a few themed vids, watches a lot of machinima. Of course, he'd have to put his hand up...just throwing out suggestions.

Ideas for other TVC types:

best mockumentary vid
best b-grade horror movie vid
best vox pop vid (in other words, man-on-the-street interviews)
