I just saw Echo last night and it was pretty badass to see all those awesome stunts before the RADs craze took over and FL off being overwhored 24/7. Especially when I saw Explosion's stunts.

Kudos TMS

I would like new socks, they are comfortable and I think Christmas is about simple things and being with your family not material possessions.

I just want to go home, meet my family and relatives, get to eat some wonderful homemade food (like everytime I visit them I'll bring a lot of boxes to fill with food, freeze and take them with me to eat later) and stuff like that.

I haven't told anyone I want something special, cause I don't.

Short Answer: Yes
Long Answer: Yes + 30 minutes explaining why. Simply, consumer culture has raped this holiday for all its worth, its not spiritual at all, its a time when all shops can come together and know their profits will enjoy a festive boost

is kr3mlin a hippy?  certainly sounds like one hehe.

It's all very well whining and bitching about what Christmas has become but what efforts are you making to ensure your own Christmas does not get sucked into that kind of negativity? As long as people are happy this Christmas, may it through materialistic means or otherwise, I feel that is what counts. If someone's biggest wish this Christmas is to get, for example, a Wii or a PS3, then so be it. If someone else would be just as happy at receiving a pair of socks, then so be it.

I'm not sick of christmas. I could be sick of what kr3m described, by I simply chose not to care. I love christmas because it means spending time with family and relatives, it means a lot to me (especially since I live quite far away from them nowadays).
