Every crew's got a logo as far as I know - that's pretty much the 'why'. Nitz did the first and Dark did the second.

I won't lie, GTAS is dying in my opinion. The newer GTA games closed a lot of windows for stunting. Vice City was the prime and that was a long time ago.  Honestly I think we had a good run and I made great friends (although they are never on any means of chat <.<).

I've tried stunting in Savc but the spark wasn't there for me. What always kept me going was video releases from other crews and members, great inspiration. That sharing of stunt ideas within the crew and challenged, the encouragement. Unfortunately those things have also died away.

I'm glad to see kaneda and neo are still around here. We need a group chat of some kind guys. I'm making a whole new kind of video these days xD

@Tallinominal: Well at the rate it's going it won't be too long before interest is lost. This forum is the only thing that keeps it going. There are actually already quite a few games that have popularized improv the same way stunting does, but in the case of games that are similar in structure to GTA - every one that I've tried has been a bitter disappointment.

@Venomous: I'm engaged, but married for all intents and purposes. No kids as of yet, but we're trying (which is most of the fun!).

I tend to share the same feelings Max does - stunting for me doesn't hold quite the same weight or priority it once did. Declining interest and commitment from other crew members and the community in general has lead to a personal decline in interest and commitment. I'll always be there whenever the guys wanna do a crew vid, but considering our latest crew vid could only muster 3 contributors, the chances of being called upon again is pretty remote.

Oh man...I'm gonna go with the other guys on this one and say the outlook is pretty sketchy.  The interest just isn't the same anymore.  A lot of it is the number of new spots is diminishing.  Obviously it's not at "the end," because new spots ARE being found, but these games don't have an infinite number of spots haha

Another factor worth mentioning is desensitization.  Stunts don't "do" as much for people as they used to.  No one is at fault for it, it's just an effect of time.  Think about how many stunts someone like me has seen.  I haven't been around for the longest by any means, but I've been watching stunts for almost six years! (including the time I spent on GTAGaming which is how I discovered ampt in the first place)  Along with all of the stunts I've done myself, I've seen almost every stunt put out by the likes of Neo, Kan, Nitz, Darkness, Dannye, Brulla, NightKid, Aries, MadMax, Samurai, Lord Peres, Nagual, KiD A, Torque, NightKnight, Daffy, WEREWOLF, Ramboy, Juan, Kert, Kingjad, Xtramus, MisquidedAngel, Bull3tproof, Brainkiller, Aenima, ZeroX, Sweet, Theftman, kr3mlin, and sooo many others.  (By the end I was just quizzing myself on how many old names I could come up with without looking anyone up )  Think about how much of the map just these people have eaten up!

For me personally, I still look fondly on stunting, but the fact is that I don't have the time to grind out stunts anymore, I'm probably past my prime , and it just doesn't have the same pull anymore.

In all seriousness I've taken up vloging with my girlfriend. The whole youtube experience is fun and the pay get better the more you put into it. I've moved on to working on that and school. Seeing as i met my girlfriend when i was in BC and I'm from Quebec, the time we spend apart, we vlog separate and then make videos. This way we can see what we are doing and stuff. During holidays and such we are together and we vlog together (such as now, im in BC) . I throw in the occasional skit/parody and those require even more work. School is especially hard and kicking my ass solidly, it's one of those thing where no matter how much time and effort i put into it (everything ive got) I can't succeed and thus all of my time is taken. Even if I wanted to stunt, I couldn't.
