I took most of this year to decide that GTA really wasn't a priority, with classes and the scooter solo video I'm working on (which is SO much more enjoyable, I recommend going to the skatepark to everybody on here), which made Daffy pretty grumpy. Apparently I'm "depressing as fuck and I suck the joy of out anything with my self-righteous cynicism", but I think it's understandable considering I have 10+ people on the internet urging me to put out a video of a time consuming video game. He may not have appreciated my pointers about how I would've liked to make the video, but if the boys want to make a video we could all see coming from a mile away in terms of editing and song choice I guess it's their decision.



On the plus side though, I might be working on a video with Laketown, which I'm going to take as long as I like to finish. It's going to have stunts which we found enjoyable to land, new old or 'easy', aaaand that's about all I can say about it right now because we haven't put much thought into it. Aaaahhh the lack of pressure is relieving.

That is not a pointer, that is a negative view with a complete lack of suggestions or pointers which was a reply to me saying:

That's not your call anymore.

This is where I stated the fact that you had dropped the video thus the demands you made in the previous post were pointless:

The least I can ask for is to use a custom timecyc, NO HUE ADJUSTMENTS OR EXTREME COLOR CORRECTION. I am sick of all these brown/gold/blue tinted videos.

Also no pussy shit for the soundtrack, as most videos since Black Winter have used. Gojira, Machine Head, Fear Factory, Arkaea, Amon Amarth, something along those lines. This video is a sequal to one brutal ass video, make it stay the same.

I never said that I'm going to make what you consider just another WH video (thought it's not unlikely), I was pointing out the mere fact that it was not your (mainly) your decision what the general theme of the video was going to be anymore and how you can't force your taste upon someone else who might not be up for the same thing as that suffocates the whole creative process of making a video from a "vision" you have in your head.
As always I'm all for suggestions, inspiration in form of music, themes, color filtering and so on but doing so by saying you're sick of the previous videos and that we've been using pussy shit music is not very inspirational, it's arrogant and obnoxious and I'm not gonna bother to deal with that.
Though you may not we do enjoy watching our crew videos without the dislike that you have for them and it has seemed to me like it's been that way for a long time so rather patching shit up which is pointless since we're bound to have a clash of interests again based on taste I think I did WH and you a favor by cutting you lose (what a nice way of re-defining kicking someone).

Sounds nice, you two seem to have a lot more in common than you have with most of the WH members.

I don't want to be harsh or anything, even if I see WH vids coming from a mile away I also see yours. That little intro you showed with that awful sky and music reminded me of Speingraph a lot. Also never understood why you wanted to do a Deviate 2, as far as I remember Daffy was the editor, he seems way more suitable for the job.

Still, would have been nice to see you edit for a change.
