Hey again.. I was wondering what are the good types of free antivirus programs there are.. My current antivirus aint that great.. Can someone please recommend me a good program?

I use avast v4.7 Its free and very easy to use. Registration it is free and it will work 16 months. And after that it need re-registrations for a next 16months and i expect it is fully free.

AVG isn't doing the job for me very well. The update always says  "closing connection"  and now and again it will actually begin to upload and I think finally my anti-virus problem is over but then it gets to around 70-80% and connection closes
