Upgrading my PC
« on: March 02, 2007, 10:25:56 AM »
Well I'm going to upgrade my PC and change some things... Right now I don't have enough money but I'll get all of cash in 2-3 weeks(about 400 $)
 Specs of my PC :

CPU   Intel P4 3.2 Ghz lga 775
MotherBoard Asus p5 gdc deluxe
Memory 2x 512 mb DDR2 Samsung Original 533mhz
VideoCard  Radeon x1950 pro 256 mb pci-e 256 mb
HardDisk  Seagate 80 gb ide
PowerBlock 480 wt PowerMan

I think about  2 x 1 gb DDR2, 320 GB sata
Well can you help me to make my choice?

Sorry for my English

As harddisk get a Seagate Barracuda, it's 320 gig, and pretty good.. I just got one, and it's good!

id go for some more Ram, 2 gigs should be good.

2 gigs in Dual channel would be great.

either that or a new processor, P4's are all kinda slow now.

E6600's just blow away the competition. There is no downside to an E6600.

It just romps the competition, just pure awesomeness

Your comp seams fine so if you don't need more HD space right now you could use your money on some more ram but imo it isn't needed.

Kingston!

I'd suggest go buying something non-computer related, your computer seems fine.
