Awesome vid. Only thing I can complain about it was really done to its name. I think they should've all been pranks done while the other was setting up/doing a stunt. Hence the name "Psyched", but it was entertaining anyhow

Pretty nice video  you two, looks like it took quite some effort to put together. I consider it was a bit of an overkill but it was amusing..enough. good way to end the series i spose

That was classic stuff men! Awesome.
It took some time but it was more than worth the wait.
Sound fx, cam angles and -movement was so well done.
Not to mention the great use of the mods created. Very entertaining and the best edition to end the series with.

Top notch work, .... psycho's!!

First EVER Full Themed Video Review
brought to you by Torque

Introduction to the Review--------

I figured since we cam write reviews for stunt videos, why not write reviews for themed vids. So themed vid makers can feel just as good about themselves because they earn it by working pretty hard to code everything so that it’s perfect. Psyched IV is the 4th installment to the Psyched series by Neo Anderson and kaneda, following the great success of 1,2 and 3.

Introduction--------
Very smooth intro and funny too, especially to anyone who’s seen rocky, meh even if you haven’t seen Rocky it should still be funny.  The first minute and a half show the battle between Neo Anderson and kaneda, to be the best of the best, which is sought to be the theme of the Psyched series. They do this by pulling off pranks on each other and eventually remaining friends only to be stabbed in the back once again.

Main body--------
So many of these skits were nicely planned out and executed without a single bit of flaw. (If there was one, it was impossible for me to find.  ) With goofy air balloons, to giant safes, and a voodoo doll to a Neo Anderson disguise kit, let’s take a look into the mind of Neo and kaneda to see what makes Psyched IV so great.

Skits--------

The video is made up by a bunch of skits that show our dastardly duo performing pranks on each other, but who gets the last laugh? Let’s find out now:

Skit 1 - 2:45 to 3:40: The main part starts off by a nice pan from the sky to Neo, and shows him placing a time bomb under a vehicle which kaneda lands into after bailing an attempted stunt, then Neo drives it into a garage and here comes the BOOM. Awesome work on getting that time bomb under vehicle, it looks like a plain texture change but I’m pretty sure a bit of dff modding came along there.  The entire scene flowed together nicely and smoothly. My favorite part in this one had to be that huge launch into the sky.
Skit 2 - 3:41 to 4:19: This skit features kaneda going onto the roof of the police station on Staunton Island with a voodoo doll of Neo and controlling him, which forces him to do several funny stuff in the process; spinning out of control on his PCJ, feeling dizzy and being thrown into the sky. AMAZING!! This has to be my favorite part in the video, it made me laugh throughout the entire thing, the idea was so creative and brilliant. I loved the flames being set into place along with the gnarly chanting. The camera work onto the roof when the flames started to burst was perfect and kaneda spinning around like a maniac made me  , I just seemed to like everything about this portion.  Poor little Neo
Skit 3 - 4:20 to 5:04: This part shows Neo getting into a hot air balloon and grabbing kaneda while he’s in a cabbie only to be put into the car crusher. Very well executed you two, the scene looked very tricky to make and it couldn’t have been done any better, or at least I hope not.  the ending of this part, where kaneda is shown in the grated car square was the standout of this skit for me. It showed that you guys wanted to take this vid a step further. I like that.
Skit 4 - 5:05 to 6:03: kaneda takes the most important tool any stunter can have, his trusty Neo Anderson disguise kit and uses it to disguise himself as Neo to act queerish in front of a bunch of Chopper thugs who then chase the disguised kaneda down a alley where they meet up with the real Neo Anderson and beat the living daylights out of him. Funny bunch, aren’t you two. Everything in this skit was perfect for me. You could totally predict the ending but the way it was handed out was funny. Great voice acting on this one, loved the part where kaneda just runs by and says “hey buddy” to Neo so calmly.
Skit 5 - 6:04 to 6:34: Luke, who isn’t your father. This tid bit shows kaneda going into a restroom and when he comes out, he gets chopped in half by Neo’s light saber. Eventually his body runs around until it finds the stairs and runs away leaving it’s manlier half behind.  I was totally stumped on this one, you two just blew it out at us (stunters of GTAStunting) I expected a normal little skit and out of nowhere Neo blasts out a light saber. Could this vid get anymore creative? Keep on reading and you’ll find out.
Skit 6 - 6:35 to 7:10: kaneda is frozen in the time space continuum but surely there is a trick up his sleeve. Neo gets out of his car to check what’s wrong with kaneda and everything seems to get dark....oh no a giant kabagijmadillion ton safe had just fallen on Neo. GREAT! Way to end the video guys, my 2nd favorite part, following the Voodoo one. The safe looked so realistic and the coding just blew my mind. Too bad kaneda gets the last laugh eh Neo.

Outro--------
The outro was so funny, it was like watching a bunch of little kids chase each other around on a playground. The camera view used was perfectly suited for this portion and the song made it oh so goofier. You guys could’ve gone up with better come backs.

Ending of an era--------
So yea, this is the last part of the Psyched series. But seriously, what kind of series ends in fours. The ones I watch usually end in 3,, 5 or 10 or 100 or a million or whatever. But 4?!?! I hope there’s a Psyched V for me to write a review for but you guys said this was the last so I’ll just keep my best comments for this one.  Each Psyched vid had something special to offer and each one gave just that. It’s gonna suck to see you guys stop making these but hopefully something better might come up. So just take your time with it.

Editing--------

Nothing too over edited for a themed vid and nothing to flashy just nice and good editing. Old school Neo at his finest.

What we’ve learned so far--------

Time to sum everything up into a couple of words and by couple I mean a lot, but not that much. Neo and kaneda are great scripters, not the best, but one of the bests because no one can ever be the best at anything (gosh major headache here.  ) I’m still a kick ass review writer and I’m still kick ass at everything else I do.  I’ll be keeping this video for a long time and I hope everyone else does the same because it takes patience and the willing to learn how to code an SCM, which brings us great vids like these. I hope others are able to take their time to write reviews because I know how much it actually means to people to be able to read these kinds of things and actually know that people enjoy seeing their end result. That’s it for me, I’m gonna go eat, have a good night everyone.
