Well, I promised to write one, so here I go:

Ostis Bigass Review on Geronimo
Edited by Daffy
Stunts by BloodyHook, Daffy, Eddeman, PlethZorb, WEREWOLF
Game: GTA Vice City

Edited with Vegas 7.0

HQ Codec/Size: .mp4 x264/115mb

Before Starting
Right, before I start analyzing this video to it's fullest, I would like to say some words. When downloading a video edited by Daffy, your allways anticipating the shock your going to get from the video. Basically, it's because of 2 reasons:

1. The stunts.
The stunts are something that allways blow you away, no matter if its a solo or a collab, Daffy doesn't mess around with the little things.
2. The editing.
The editing is straight forward, its like smacking someone in the face, its just raw power on screen. It's something Daffy's allways been known to do, but by this time he's perfected it into something that you just can see from his work.

This video does not leave you wondering. It's got the both of the reasons to be another succesfull and awesome collab. It's just a shame that the collabs purpose is to look good, because of people cutting down.

The Intro:
I must say I was surprised by the editing here. "Whats happening? This effect isn't that cool?" I don't know what he meant by using the old film effect, but I guess it fitted somehow. Tho it felt a little lacking, something that could have been done better, in my opinion. But then, when the name shows up, with the usual Daffy style of showing the name, you start feeling that somethings going to happen. It's like the vid is opening up, and so is the music. And then, it starts. So in a way, you did good, but in another way, I was dissapointed. Still, intros don't make a vid good or bad, it's just something of looking.

The Main Part:
Well as usual, this main part is no exception of Daffy's usual style. Some new ways of using effects to smack you in the face, matching totally with the music. But the stunts were also some of the best Ive ever seen. This video had some of the best stunters out there right now in it, and it delivered. Eddeman totally blew me away with his stuff, and so did PlethZorb. Daffy had some awesome stuff too, but in my opinion this vid was PlethZorbs and Eddemans. WEREWOLF and Bloodyhook had good stunts too, even if they weren't seen as many times. Overall, the main part delivered as it should. Now, lets take a closer look.

Stunters Standouts:

BloodyHook: Well done, that thing is a bitch, I actually tried it myself. I think it was a challenge by Nitzkit? Well anyway, it was nice seeing you again!

Daffy: Your last stunt, I think you showed it to me, and even if you "stole" it from boo, it's a damn nice looking stunt, great going.

Eddeman: You are wicked, man. You've turned into my favorite stunter in a snap, you totally rock man. I can't really say you had any standouts, just what I said: Wicked stunting.

PlethZorb: You just gotta love those car bumps? Sure looks like it at least, holy shit that was nice. Whatever you do, don't even think about quitting on me now!

WEREWOLF: It's been a while since I saw you stunt, and it was nice to see that the wolf still is able to lay on the groove. Liked your stunt man!

Stunts & Editing in detail:

00:29 - PlethZorb - Nice bsm, never seen anyone land into the stadium like that before.
00:38 - Daffy - Even tho I first didn't understand the thrill of doing these combos, I do now, after trying them. And this is a proud example of it too. Tho the pan cropping didn't seem to work here, I don't know what it is. The black transitions got me thinking of Aetas.
00:50 - Eddeman - Hell, why hasn't anyone tought of that before? Awesome thinking man. Editing wise I was astonished by the look of the hitting zooming, was a perfect sync for the music.
00:57 - PlethZorb - You showed this to me before, and it took me by surprise then too. Awesome doublestoppie combo, why do aussies allways do this?
01:07 - Daffy - Nice cork, another one I wouldn't think of!
01:13 - Eddeman - Holy shit, great stunt. Was put in at the perfect spot too, and the syncing made it seem bigger. Great job.
01:25 - BloodyHook - I guess I already told you my toughts about this stunt. Again, it's nice.
01:29 - Daffy - I saw this before also, great idea and well pulled off. Nicely synced here too.
01:38 - Eddeman - There are tons of these spots, so why not do another one?
01:48 - Daffy - Weird, I didn't expect to see this here? Well, it was nice, but judging with the other stunts it stood out as a little below average.
01:55 - Eddeman - Taxi stunts bring variety, and often they look great too, if pulled off right. This was definetly the right way, landing that top must have been hard. The pan croppings to the side are propably there to bring variety, but to me they look a little clumsy. Tho it still does the job, and looks good. I just think it looks a bit weird.
02:05 - WEREWOLF - Again, I think I said what I tought. It's an awesome stunt, and the doublekrail was just magnificent.
02:14 - Eddeman - One of your weirder grind ideas, but it was very nice indeed.

Now here the video seems to slow off somehow. It's a classical thing in my view, slowing it off a bit to show the most awesome stunt of the vid. Often the most awesome is shown last, because of the music topping itself. In this case tho, Daffy made the right choice by putting it here, with all of these small clips making you think: "Oh no he didn't" time and time again. It's like the cherry on top of the fudge, I love this part! Also, the way of putting more glow before he hits the car was totally new to me, and it looked hell-a-good. Classical Daffy.

02:38 - PlethZorb - Holy shit man. This is... I mean hell, its unbelievable. And people who don't like RAD's can't even disagree with me here, this was a hell of a stunt. Amazing.
02:48 - Daffy - You used the right car for this, didn't you? Awesome stunt this too.
02:55 - Eddeman - Awesome bsm, you just keep hitting these things.
03:01 - PlethZorb - Another one I saw before, hell of a tight doublebump man.
03:08 - Daffy - I love how you used the pan crop here, looks great when you come up from there. And it's just hard to realise how high this bump is, great going man, I still can't believe that people are hitting these hights.

Outro:
After seeing the main part, your still in shock, but your not even given a chance to regroup after it. Some of these stunts make me wonder how they didn't make the main part, but I guess there were a few leftovers. Good looking outro, nothing more to say.

Editing:
Roughly speaking, I could say that Im a little surprised. It's a really nice video, it's got the Daffy looks and all, but I still feel like you left something out. I don't know if it's the awesome way you've been editing stuff lately, but something just felt missing from this. I am not saying that I didn't like this, that's not at all what I mean.  I guess Im just getting too high hopes on you, but gosh you still make stuff look unbelievable.

Music Choices:
It's a bit of a bummer when you hear a main part song that's been in your folders for months, and you have never used, being used in a great way like this. The song flowed perfectly, it's definetly a song thats fitting with your style. The outro song was a bit weird tho, and it didn't really hit me in a good way. But I guess it still worked in an outro, so overall you did a good job choosing.

Summing It Up:
All in all it was definetly a very nice vid. I love videos that leave me in shock after watching, and somehow it seems that every vid Daffy does leaves me in that state. I told you the 2 reasons that I get excited when I see a video by Daffy, and this video was no exception. This again is my quotline: "Geronimo brings together both the new and old way of stunting, combining into an awesome mixture of stunts ranging from high flying action to technical wonders. Together with a beautiful look that's only normal for a Deathwish Productions video these days, this is one of the best stuntvideos of 2007."[/i]

Sorry for the bump, but I just had to write this
