Actually a good PC setup would be a 4gb HDD and larger ones added onto that, then you can have a whole HDD just for windows, and all ur data seperate (if u need fresh install of windows, no data loss )

Windows takes up more than 4gb, Impakt. I'd suggest about 40gb for windows. Just for when you wanna install more programs.

i have a 3mb hdd somewhere its as big as my whole pc and loud as fuck - it doesnt work anymore though.

others i have are:

300gb (we have lots of em - to much about 20 or sthin)
250gb (intern)
200gb (intern)

170mb
and one which is
120mb

plus: 160gb xbox hdd (i change this one often)

hardcore: Did you made sure its only one partition? Once i checked one of my hdd's and i almost threw it away cause windows said its 5gb - than i saw (walking towards the bin) that there is a paper on it saying 180gb, i instantly ran back and formated it - 175gb man
(Later it broke though :'( )
