That could work. We definately don't need people assessing each others skill compared to other stunters, thats how problems start.

I was always against the "betting system" because it might effect a stunters performance during the league.

Exactly, this tournament should be concentrated more on stunting.

If a stunter had found out that many people didn't think that they would get past the first round then they wouldn't bother to try hard. If a stunter found out that they actually had a chance then they would give it all they got.

It's normal human nature. You remember the bad things someone said to you but you really don't care about the good things the say about you.

Yeah, that's true. But a betting thread could be private and nonaccessable to the competitors.

Or people could PM their bets, that way the other competitors (not the ones in the match) could bet too, but nobody would get to see the bets until the match was over. Then, the bets won't decide your performance.

There's a good idea, Psycho. I would like to see some sort of betting action going on, it makes it seem like more of a sport and it'll have non-competitors involved and interested in the matches.

You would have to have a non-competitor keeping track of it, preferably someone that NoAP can trust. I would love to do it, but I'm competing, so... I can't.

Well, it doesn't HAVE to be a non-competitor, it could just be a competitor who's not in the current match who's trustworthy. Or you could just make an admin do it

I guess so... but then you'd have to switch every time that competitor competes... I was thinking like one person to run it the whole time.

You know, the more I think about this, the more I worry that this may cause some problems (the betting system). Maybe if we did without the odds and just did a straight bet. You almost always see people in matches saying who they want to win anyway. That way it doesn't even have to be anonymous, although from experience, doing these things through PMs is just way easier.

Also, we're up to 40 entrants!!!!! Awesome!!! I figure if we can get a couple more, i'll set the brackets to allow for 48 participants and just leave a few open for first round byes. Time for you all to start kissing ass

But, I am in need of one more judge. I've got 4 right now and i'd like at least 2 more to account for anyone who is away or drops out. If you are interested in being a judge... PLEASE send me a PM. Don't post it here, otherwise it will get lost amongst the 10 or so pages of posts.

I tihnk it's logical, it would mean so much advantage for those who use it. I've never used it and I wouldn't install it for this tournament.
