Comments like those is why stunting is fast beginning to suck. I yearn for the good old days when no-one really cared about how good they, or their crew was...we all just enjoyed watching, and appreciating each other's stuff. Competition and arrogance will be the death of these forums.

I knew it, the old ATS is gone. This vid has not the old ATS feel to it, which I loved.  

I disagree with the whole 'the old ATS is gone' thing, to be honest. We rotate our editors so each vid has a distinct feel to it, and it just so happened that it landed on Aries for this vid. The Awakening (to me) smacks of RPM, in fact...very similar. The old ATS isn't gone, it's just been upgraded with new members

Did you guys miss the intro? That was so ATS like. The song was new school, and not rob zombie,  but still it was damn good. And dont say the old ATS is gone because its still here. ATS has always put GTAS in awe, they did, and thats what ATS has always been about for me. But in a way, they are not so "addicted" anymore.

Ok... just reading through what seems to be getting a heated discussion.
Here's my final say about it:

I can understand that you guys expect perfection in everything that has got the ATS-touch.
But plz understand that there is more in life and the hardcore-members are facing, or have faced that.
You await a vid for so long and maybe the slightest 'mistake' can throw your enthousiasm off. I totally respect that because all it says is that you care for ATS and it's legacy. Hell, I'm only part of this crew for a few months and I haven't forgotten what it's like to have watched 'Game Over' with my jaw on the floor.

All I wanted to say is.. Plz respect our 'senior' members (no pun Neo and Kan ) in attempt to still give you that old-skool feeling, albeit with a little less dedication and effort. (which I couldn't tell from the stunts in this vid, but that's personal)
Plz respect the fact that those who gave us these times, and have been an inspiration to EVERYONE here, are still trying to kick some serious ass in this highly evolved 'art' or passtime.
It's soo good to see that, as said before, all of GTAS stops when there is another episode of ATS-stunting released.

And maybe ppl may find it strange hearing us say: "we only stunt for fun, not to impress and get arrogant over it". Know that we stunt to impress people only getting them to push the boundries of this game even further. It's a chainreaction which starts the evolution. We too wanna watch vids that actually make us start up VC/LC and stunt.  

I know I'm just bitching because 99% of all replies were genuine praise and excitement, which is lovely to read.
I hope you can all respect ppl's situations in real life too. Especially if their online alter-ego's brought you somuch joy in a video-game.

@sabotage: you had your say man.. I suggest making a new topic about your sentimental values if you feel the need to. respect.

It's quite amusing to see how serious you guys took that little teaser-post.
But while i'm here let me enlighten some of you a little about "the terrifying competition plague" you're all so afraid of.

Competition is the reason why stunting has evolved from doing polebumps and krailflips.
If we weren't competitive at all we wouldn't try to push our own limits, to progress and try new and creative stuff.
Tell me... why is your stunts better in every vid that comes out than the previous one?
Because you're trying harder stunts to become "better" than you used to.
We're all a little competitive, we all want to get better than we are and honestly if no one was stunting and if there was no one to stunt with and show our stunts to... who would honestly stunt at the level some of us do or even stunt at all.
This is normal and natural and saying something different is ignorant in my oppinion, you may say that someone is so competitive that it's unhealthy and that it takes the fun away from it but i love what i do.
I'm so sick of people talking about competition like it's a bad thing, the competition is what keeps this alive... not what kills it.
I stunt for fun like you guys and i think it's damn good fun to push myself further for every stunt i do.

EDIT: I hope you understand that i didn't write this for you alone but for everyone who shares that opinion.

Hey hey, got my chance to watch this gem today  

Beautiful stuff all 'round boys. I enjoyed watching all the stunts. Props to Aries for handling the editing and doing a bang up job of it - I think everything went together well, and I even liked the song. Nitzkit you coding nutcase, I dont even wanna imagine how difficult that was to create, sweet camera work, and it was nice to see Kan's flaming ATS idea being brought to life. As for stunts, well... you're all freaks (I guess that includes me now  ). Hmm, what else, Aries man... that bike, god damn, it sure looks great in action.

I am glad I am now able to be associated with this great bunch of dudes, so far everything has gone swimmingly, and I look forward to what's to come.

A nice round of applause to all those who have put their heads to their keyboard to comment on the vid, it's all appreciated.

 in short term, this intro PWNED, it was perfect in my opinion, I didnt even notice the missing guys, you dont have to watch things in particular but the how the whole thing turns out, like when you're at a concert.  

ok, The Awakening "main part" starts and we are already fuckin hot (at least I was) ..."let's see the stunts we were waiting for so long"... : P

Nitzkit: nice plant bump, very high and the right distance to land on the building, (you still dont know what to expect from the whole vid here)

ZeroX: very cool infernus bump, nice back flips and height, I really liked it (I missed that color... but now it's finally here again, yo!) ...and music fast beats keep up the stunts rhythm by far

Dannye: (fast clips well put on the drums) then your stunt, I firstly didnt notice how weird was that BSM stuck, just saw that nice bsm to temple! (I can see now that you could have used those curve parts of the roof to get to the slightly higher part, if you had had new carcols!) Just my noob thoughts though  

Aries: nice font dude, and awesome BSM! that's fuckin high for a bsm.

Kaneda: what a pleasure to find you in this vid too! genius idea and awesomly performed... long gap and grind... (my dick is awakening here)  (and the song keeps keeping the stunts up with his nice beats)
