Fraps has a max resolution that you can record in (1280x800 i think) and anything over that eg. 1440x900 it will just record at half size...you do the maths O_O

Fraps can capture audio and video up to 2560x1600 on dual-core CPUs (1152x864 single-core) at up to 100 frames per second!
