Have you bought any new hardware lately that demands a lot of power.
Your hardware might not be getting enough power, if this is the problem i would recommend try connecting devices that takes a lot of power (GFX-Card for example) directly to the PSU with a single cabel that doesn't have a splitter so only this device will be connected, connect devices that demands less power (Floppy, CD/DVD drives for example) to cable that has splits so you can connect more than one device.
Also try disconnecting hardware that's not necessary to run the operation you're attempting.
You can also try updating all your drivers and starting the PC in safe-mode to see if it happens there, this should let you know if the problem lies within the software or the hardware and should help you solve the problem.
If none of this helps i'll suggest setting the maximum virtual memory on your PC higher or contacting someone who knows a lot about theese kinda things.

Good luck with your problem.

Hmmm bot overhiting but overclocking...

overclocking meen that you  wanned to do overcloking... you wanned to Boost cpu ? Or Graphics card ?

Well theres a problem if u done that u cant overclock it... and when the overcloking fails it shuts down...

Well if not you have Virus ... same problem wa to me to... but my problem was when i played flat out 2 sometimes it restarts.... it was virus...

so if u wanned to overclock something then you pissed you pc for good... i need to know if u  wannned to overclock something or not... if yes you need to buy a new Cpu or Graphics card...  Or make the overcloking 100% right...  i think it shuts down  becouse the overcloking fails or the Cpu temperature is to high... becouse when you overclock  your cpu can Burn down ...

So try  instaling antivirus , if it wont help then  you need to take  to the serviss to repair your cpu or you  need to buy new cpu....

Good luck dude....

Hope i helped ya

Just open your computer's case and clean every single chip n such, and make sure all thing's are where they are suppose to be which mean's that make sure that everything is tight not loose, oh and when you get mad at your computer: please don't beat it, keep a pillow next to you for safety reason's.
Also, troubleshoot everything you can think of because usually troubleshooting find's the problem's if there's anything wrong with the computer inside or otherwise. If you still can't get rid of the problem, when your computer is booting up go into DOS mode(can't remember hotkey) and uninstall anything you couldn't on normal mode and run a virus check there too!
