i was recording my .reps with fraps tonight and they ran slow when i started recording. i looked at the clips and they ran at the same speed. anyway to increase the speed with fraps or editing?

Mark the clip in Vegas and add velocity or open them in Virtual Dub and set the Framerate(FPS) up.

The best way to get a good speed with fraps is to set your display setting for VC as low as they can go and put the draw distance as low as it can go.

You can set it to 800x600 and up if it was that you meant...

If not theres only that and the draw distance you can change in VC
