[span style=\'color:#FF0000\']Okay this does not really go in the Graphics Section because they are not finished works plus it is a poll too, but mainly because I did not find a proper category to put it in.

My question:

Where should I put the highlight?

A.  In front and over the wheel.

B.  Behind the wheel.

Remember the wheel is going to be animated.

I need help deciding which looks better.  I am more partial to the highlight behind because the orange glow on the edges over the wheel look neat.  But I want to know what you guys would prefer.  Thanks.

Payton

Oops I messed up the poll.[/span]

[span style=\'color:#FF0000\']Thanks guys.  I am getting more of a direction to go in now.  Also Eric what did you mean by make it smaller?  The width of the UserBar or the scale of the wheel?

Also if you guys can give me some other suggestions too.  Like on the model itself.  I think I should make the brake disc smaller to show more of the spokes.

Or what about the inner lip which is suppose to be a gloss black shine with a polished outer lip, but the lip almost looks indistinguishable in the small images.  Should I go ahead with a full chrome material?

[span style=\'color:#FFFF00\']Here is the Chronology of the wheel for reference:[/span][span style=\'color:#00FF00\']
First render getting the Brakes done.  Rendered with original Tire from PCJ600.  Notice lumps in the tire with MeshSmooth.

First try at the Tire.  Noticeable gaps.

Final Tire scaled to Brakes but without Sidewall.  Notice gap between Innerlip and Tire.

Full Tire.  Sidewall created and fit.  Innerlip scaled and fit to Tire.

Spokes modeled and added.

First render with everything modeled.

Same render, Second angle.

High Gloss Black added to Innerlip.  Outer lip with Lighter Chrome.  Spokes and Center HUB Gunmetaled.

Final render with all materials.  Brakes match color scheme on Darkness' bike.  Entire Wheel is supposed too.
[/span]

Remember I am taking ques off of Darkness' Papaya looking yellow bike that I did.

Thanks again guys

Payton

P.S.  Please nothing about changing the tread pattern.  That was already a headache to make.  Especially when I kept getting gaps between each section and had to keep undoing the meshsmoothing and bend modifiers to get back and fix....Complicated process.  And I still had to make the side wall from a completely separate tube geometry.  Anyway, suggestions?[/span]
