Here it is, just a tutorial explaining 3 very easy ways to get a simple signature border. Enjoy.

I'm a big fan of stroke with 3 pixels: black, white, then black.
You can turn the blending mode to soft light as well for a nice look on some sigs, but it won't work for all of 'em.
