I like InsaNe's render and the way he made it look like it was bursting through the background. However, I don't quite like the way he made the background, if you look at the render. The render is awesome, but it doesn't go very well with the orange-ish background.

Firefly's entry was nice - almost completely done with pen tool, it looked funny, and there was no render used to make the entry. It does however look very simple thanks to the pen tool.

My vote: Firefly, since I know working with the pentool can be very hard, and it was pretty innovative as well.

firefly - very nice pencil work, the sig is funny, indeed, but it doesn't look like a sig, more like just a pic.

InsaNe - very good background, nice render, i like that the sig doesn't look complex, i didn't really like the text but the text is ok still.

My vote: InsaNe, both sigs looked nice and different, but firefly's one isn't really good, IMO, as a sig, it's more like an ordinary image.

firefly - Good job, original and cool.

InsaNe - Awesome, the render and bg fits great. The border is great too. Everything I can complain at is the text, but it's not bad though.

Firefly: It's a nice idea, I think was hard to make it cuz he used the pen tool.
InsaNe: Very nice, I like the colors and the text. It was better than Firefly's imo.

Insane: Insane background, the font is really cool, the render is quite nice, and it fits together nicely.

I vote: firefly, it's something that isn't done often, and it looks nice.

His sig matches the forum great and i love those original shaped sigs, i'm tired of the overused rectanlge

Fireflys 'sig' (not really a sig tho) is very hard to make, and there are only few people who do this style, but i think firefly just overuses it abit.... It's very difficult dude, respect for that, but it doesn't really look like a sig, and you used it too much

Insane: Original. Weak point is the text. I really like it.

Firefly: For a sig like that to be awesome, you need to work way more than 4 hours. It's hard to do but as others said it doesnt really look like a sig.

I like both entries, like everybody else says, insanes looks more like a sig, but I also love the actually work gonna into fireflies, and the fact he actually dares to make something different, and it turned out good.

I'm basing my vote clearly on original style...so you can guess were my votes going right now.

Insane: I do like the presentation of your sig as if the Rex is bursting out from our forum window which is well done...but heres the thing: Your sig isn't fully transperent so the effect isnt fully created. Also your 2nd text is almost unreadable...I think it says "Productions" but other then that i'm clueless.

Firefly: This is the style i'm talking about people. It is pure fantastic, even though it doesn't look like much this is one of the hardest sigs I've seen to create or recreate. Pure Pencil tool is something I've only seen done by Firefly and he creates that style like a pro. The sig itself is well put together and clear to view and read.

Thus my vote goes to FIREFLY.

Pencil, not pen. You use pen for shapes, pencil for making stuff pixel by pixel. Just had to say that since a lot of people are congratulating my penwork

Both were very nice.

Firefly's is awesome.  Has originality and style.  Fits the theme very well, and just isn't something you would normally see.

Insane's is also awesome...  Cool render and the transparent edges makes it look great.

So I guess it just comes down to which style I like more...  So I have to go with Firefly.
