Packer to wallclimb help
« on: December 25, 2005, 11:14:45 PM »
I've been trying to do one of these for a few days now, using a packer placed parallell to the wall, riding up it then leaning forwards and into the wall so you gradually ride up it.
If you dont know what i'm talking about, Omni did it in TMS & XSA's "As One" @ 2:45

Anyone able to help me out?

Well I ain't too sure about SA wallrides, but for starters, Id imagine that the angle is wrong, you kinda wanna go for about 30 degrees to the wall.

Kr3mlin, i have done them, not very high up though, what you do is, ram packer into wall you want to ride, then press reverse with a slight tap, and press handdbrake as soon as your packer moves, then get out, get a nrg/sanchez and lean back about a quater of a second before you hit the wall, you should ride up it

Normal Wallride Method.
Well you need a wall that joins onto another wall at about 20 degrees difference.

Then go at the wall at a very slight angle and wheelie, just before you make contact with the wall lean forward..Hopefully you will kind of jump off the first wall and on the angled wall start to wallride.

Packer Wallride method.

Put a packer slightly angled next to the wall you want to wallride, Again you need a wall that joins onto another wall at a different angle, or a wall that curves gradually.

Then go towards the packer at about a 30 degree angle. Your aiming to go up the packer slightly diagonally and you want to make contact with the wall just under the 2nd support used for a PSB.

When you near this point wheelie and then lean forward into the wall when you get to the 2nd support.

Hope this helps ;)
