Best car to use as a ramp?
« on: February 09, 2015, 08:32:25 AM »
I assume it's the Turismo, but I don't want to waste 500k based on an assumption. I'm thinking I'll do the slam glitch to the front wheels, and burst the front tires as well to make it low as possible, if that changes anything.

Orly? I assumed it was the turismo, can't be that much difference in any case and the turismo is a better car overall, havn't tested difference between the 2 though.

definitely the cheetah. the whole front end is great for launching. turismo has a much smaller launch area and just doesnt work nearly as well as often as the cheetah.

Decided to test this in depth. The bump height of Cheetah/Turismo is about the same, but the Cheetah has a slightly more consistent front side than the Turismo, because the left/right of the Turismo's front side are very slightly raised. However, the Turismo has a slightly higher top speed than the Cheetah, and accelerates much faster, which allows you to get more height off it for multiplayer bumps.

Both vehicles work fine, but after doing a lot of in depth testing, I'd give the edge to the Turismo. Cheetah can be very slightly easier to bump at times, but it's not worth it over the speed advantages of the Turismo. If you want to keep both, use the Cheetah for placing a ramped car in front of a bump, and use the Turismo for motorbike multiplayer bumping. For multiplayer bumping with BMX's and cars, the Zentorno is still the king.
