System boot up failure

Hey, you or anyone who knows about computers and stuff can help me?

So I've been trying to turn on my computer. It will go well until the Starting Windows boot screen shows up, it'll be there for a few minutes and the computer reboots. The computer has also started successfully a few times but it just freezes if I open or close anything. Despite how old my PC is (2006) it was working perfectly and out of nothing it started giving me this problem.

After I gave up on booting normally, I tried safe mode in it's 2 methods: Web & CMD and neither worked. They stuck in a file called aswrvt.sys forever. It won't go further and will reboot the computer.

Before any of you bump with "Google it" I have already done it and it didn't really work. I'm out of ideas, someone please help me :/.

While I was trying to install Windows again a window shown up saying that there wasn't a working controlator for the hard drive so I desperatedly looked for one throughout the computer files in case I had any saved but I didn't. Accidentally I clicked on system restauration and it froze up. 5 minutes later, it started working again and opened a CMD window with a lot of text which I scrolled down until the end:

"No hard drive found. In case there is a hard drive installed, it must be not working properly"

So I turned off everything & unplugged my CPU to check the hard drive connections 'n stuff. It was all connected in the right pin points (For safe, I unplugged and plugged all the cables again in their right position) and it still didn't work .

Hmm. get into the bios or Uefi and go to some tab which will be call boot options or something. there you will see the hdd's your pc sees. if something is checked with: No boot or something set it to boot 1 . be aware to choose boot 1 on the hdd with your windows


anyway double check your power cables and plugs, the SATA connector from the HDD to your motherboard etc..
