I have gotten several question of people which did not know how to DJ.
I'll quickly explain on how to do so:
Step 1: Join the Plug.dj website.
Step 2: Click on the purple arrow on the bottom left corner
Step 3: Create a playlist by giving it a name
Step 4: Search in the search bar for a song you like. (Youtube links also work.)
Step 5: Once you found the songs you like you can click on the + sign and add them to your playlist of choice
Step 6: Add yourself to the DJ-list and let people enjoy your music!
For the 'new' people on that site these are things you should know:
You get points by liking (wooting) video's which are played on the Plug. If people like your video's you also get points.
With these points you can unlock different avatars which are showcased on the bottom right corner.
Meh-ing also gives points, but this is something I don't want in this plug. Meh-ing easily results in a war between the DJ's. People do not appreciate it if people don't like their music taste. That is why I added a rule of meh = ban. Ban is either temporarily or permanent based on the overall pressence in the plug.
The fan feature is to show you appreciate others people's music taste. As far as I know, the fans don't really unlock anything. It's only a sign to show off.
The plug.dj has its own rules and breaking these will result in a ban or a demotion.
The rules of this plug.dj are:
1. No meh-ing. If you don't like a song you can simply mute the sound. Meh-ing will result in a ban.
2. Every music taste is allowed, so please respect others music taste.
3. Be nice. I know it's hard for many of you guys, but I don't want to lose 'audience' due to shit users.
4. Promotions will be earned accordingly. Those who are active, helpful and a good pressence in the 'chat', have a higher chance of being promoted.
5. No pornographic talk. Not everyone is the age of 18 yet. Please watch out with this.
6. No power abuse. If you abuse potentially power you've been trusted with, you will be demoted.
