either that or you have no graphic card drivers (I could run cs 1.6 with no drivers)

I had this problem months ago and the reason was that i was tweaking settings in nvidia control panel.
So try restore default in your Ati/Nvidia control panel.

Considering the lack of specifics in the initial post, I'd say most of the responses have been quite valid ones. Again, is there an error message? Does it attempt to boot the games in any way, or is there simply no response at all? (I know he says 'nothing happens', but even that's pretty vague) If you're gonna make a post asking for help with a problem, you need to be a little more specific than 'nothing happen'.
