MBL Quality Loss - help?
« on: November 22, 2011, 12:09:11 PM »
hey,
well I got a problem with MBL & vegas
it seems like if I sometimes render it out, it has a really good quality when I watch the file at my computer,
but at youtube the quality at 360p is just fcked up,
I tried rendering uncompressed, then converting it into MKV,
the best quality @wmv with 10M bitrate, disabling resample, everything I know :S

Also,
if i would record at 1920x1080, and then resize to 1280x720 in vegas, would it increase the quality up a lot?

if you have a solution or some tips, please share them with me :S

thanks

The problem is that it's YouTube, just that it's streaming actually. Btw going from 1080p to 720p only decreases it. :|

Dunno about the YouTube thingy but, recording at 1080p and having a 720p vegas project doesn't make it lose quality.. And way better than recording at 720p and rendering 720p :ajaja:

(By "it doesn't lose quality" I mean that's it's not much.. Ofc it's not the same than rendering 1080p duh)
