Well as TB said when there is like and dislike i guess there will be no reason to post anything.
So i guess this is not a good idea.

this will only encourage people to simply click "like" instead of actually posting something constructive for the people involved in the video.

waste of time.
If they can summarise their whole post with just a 'like' then it probably wouldn't have been worth posting anyway.

Yes but this will only promote laziness as people will only have to click a button instead of give a review, which hardly anyone does these days anyway. not to mention 90% of the people who watch a video watch it on youtube first, and download later. so they can just click "like" on youtube.

I just feel it cut credit short for people involved in a video, I like to read comments and reviews, I would not like to see 2 comments and 8 "likes" As an editor i want criticism, why did you like it? why did you not like it? what could have been better? a "like" button discourages people to give a proper response.
