Came across this yesterday, it's just so weird  :|

I basically takes the only real reasons you would want an electric kit and burns them.. but .. uhh..  yeah I just don't know.. I'm a huge fan of pearl but this just seems stupid :/

It IS kinda cool but I don't think you should waste so much money on an electric kit... Even if it's a Pearl. :P
I want to get an electric one to get the hang on everything first, then might consider getting an actual acoustic one.

The price of the ePro live is 3.199.99.. Kinda too much for an electric kit. lol
Let's not mention that the double bass pedal alone is 629$........

Actually that's pretty cheap as far as electric kits go :P

I'm mainly confused as to why they would think that making it larger and more likely to break would be appealing...?

"e-Pro Live is a revolutionary electronic drumset that looks, feels and sounds like, practically is a new drum."

"But it's not!"

I would love an electronic kit, but i'd rather spend the $3000 on the set im going to get instead. I'm planning on buying a Pearl Export series kit, and a kick pedal that will either be a DW 9002, Pearl Demon Drive, or the Tama Cobra or whatever. Not sure on cymbals. Might just go with A customs or some used Ks.

thats retarded, I mean, the drum IS ALREADY THERE, why not simply use the acoustic nature of a hollow device to produce sound opposed to electronic stuff jammed in there. its like building a boat, parking it on land, and navigating via television.  its taking one device that works on its on, and changing it drastically to produce the exact same effect.
