Damn, vegas is starting to look a lot more like after effects.
I'm gonna "go out" & "buy" it right now  :cheernutz:

Wasn't this already integrated in Vegas 7 or ever 6? :S Also: Looks quite bad, nothing like AE

Well as far as I'm aware you couldn't generate that space between the text and that background. I got Vegas10 aswell since today and I couldn't really gain any result as you did. I badly wanna test somethig with this ^^! Did you pick any stereoscopic 3D-mode in the project properties (I hardly doubt this)? Also on your track photo picture there is no Video Event FX applied to any object or does it all work over the 3D compositing mode? Mind explaining how you got that space?

You could generate the space between the text and the background, you just had to move it's Z properties.
Still I don't really see the point of vegas trying to be like after effects, I mean sure it will be neat to have these features if you are just throwing some clips together, but Vegas doesn't really have the workflow to compete with after effects for this stuff. Whereas AE doesn't have the workflow to compete with Vegas for editing all the clips into one video.

The position properties were shielded by that tiny + on the left. :|
However, thanks Ghost. Oh and it was the X axis instead of Z. Working now as I wanted. So yes, this was available in the previous versions already then. Seem like I jst missed out something which I've always wanted upon Vegas. :ninja:
I'll try some 3D rendering soon then, though that was possible with older Vegas version already aswell. Just hadn't any specific options which were meant to. :P

Is true 3D possible then? Cause this still looks like some crappy wanna-be 3D which is actually 2D :P

Isn't everything you see on a screen wannabe-3D?  :cc_detective:

True 3D has been possible since like Vegas 1. You just have to film it in 3D (using 2 cameras, or a proper 3D camera).
You could film it in 2D and then make it look 3D in post production, but that will never be as good. For example, the new Clash of the Titans was made 3D after they filmed it in 2D, and it looked pants.
