mouse not responding

in any of the vc's, mouse will not respond to clicking any of the buttons at all, but will respond to movement. in the menu, i can move the pointer moves, but clicking doesn't work. in game, camera does not move and clicks don't do anything. so halp plz? ty :]

it happened to me, I think doesnt have how to fix, you need to click esc and test like 10 times or more

yeah thanks for the reply. sometimes clicking esc 100 times may fix it, but usually, it doesn't and i don't have the patience for that shit. :/ i'm positive that there is another fix for it. :[

run in comp mode: 98/2000? and you mouse works in a few tries esc, atleast for me

If you've had alot of stuff open before going ingame all you can do is to restart ur comp, I have this problem ALOT, and it's fking annoying.
Except for starting VC b4 lots of other shit, esc'ing and alt tabbing is all you got I'm afraid

i tried all compatibility modes for the game and "run as admin," no luck. oh well.

when this happened to me i just load game wait a few seconds and click escape and the mouse is working again
