GTA IV - 60Hz

I recently got a new monitor. When i start IV it says "Out of range   34.7Hz to 60Hz".
Im guessing it means IV is running on higher than 60Hz and my monitor does not support that, because when i press Alt + Tab my desktop comes up fine.

So is there an option in IV to change it to 60Hz or less ?

If there is then i can connect my old monitor back up, change the settings, and reconnect my new monitor and it should work then.

You can change it ingame. Make sure the selected resolution is supported aswell.
