VC/LC crashing
« on: June 02, 2010, 09:24:27 AM »
Heya guys, bumped into a new problem lol. I've been having this for a long time actually, since I reinstalled windows(XP). The problem is VC/LC crashing everytime I tab out, sometimes it just freezes and I can only see the mouse cursor and then I would have to restart the PC, sometimes if I'm lucky I can bring up the task manager and end the game process. I deleted the set thingy in the user files folder and I tried tabbing out from the main menu and it worked but then the game started crashing during the loading process so that didn't work. Just recently, somehow it automatically got fixed, I didn't do anything, it just stopped crashing and I tabbing out wasn't a problem anymore but just yesterday that shit started happening again, it's a weird problem lol. :hmm: Would appreciate any help guys, thanks in advance. :)

Happened when I had vista 32bit, mainly in SA. I actually had to log out every time it would freeze since I couldn't do anything else  :L

Right click on gta-sa.exe, properties, compatibility tab, then pick any compatibility.

Holy crap, that worked! Actually I remember I uninstalled Total Video Converter for a while then reinstalled day before yesterday, I never would've guessed. Thanks a bunch man!

I don't understand one thing though, what does Total Video Converter have to do with VC/LC? :hmm:

I suggest you to throw your pc out of a window.  :euro:
