Think about it this way - if people will keep downloading stuff, in a few years everything will be freeware, and no one will need to feel bad about downloading stuff.

And most programs won't exist......... its a fucking living for people, not a hobby. If I made a program right now, I'd give it out for free, if I did it as a living, I'd require some form of income from it, kinda hard to do if it is free.

I mean its like, if someone gave you a 50 bill for no reason, would you deny it? Would you say " No, Its not right, I dident earn this money?" Cause I mean ya that sounds like the noble thing to do n all but ehy, if someone or something offers me something worth $ for free, I take it.

Turtle Boy, we're not being offered the chance to pirate things, we're making that decision ourselves. KM has the most truthful point.

Very True, I'm not condoning piracy don't get me wrong, Be we are being offered the chance to get it for free, just having access to the internet gives you the chance to prirate media, we make the choice ourselves to take it yes.  Some games/programs I simply dont think are worth the 59.99 they charge for a new PC game, Ive bought many games, in fact I own more games than I have downloaded, its jsut some of the stuffI think they are trying to fleece the market, like the Adobe CS3 Master pack when it first came out, over 2 thousand dollars, Now I understand ALOT of hard work went into that and every edition they make, but still 2000 for one purchase? I mean yea its like 8 programs in one but holy shit, we pay more for software than some governments get a YEAR.  Do you realize how many better things we could do with that money? how many people we could help?  Lives we could save?? but nah lets spend it on !'s and 0's. And I dont want to hear any bitching about my point of doing something good with the money, I have donated money many times to several different charities and institutions so don't think I'm just spouting shit.  I fully believe that programs coders and game coders deserve to be paid for their work, and some programs I would pay as much as, say $500. for, but Im not gunna pay 59.99 for a game and beat it that day, Its simply not worth it, hence why I like to dl the game or prog first and decide whether its worth my money or not, and Trial versions simply don't give you a good representation of the product.. But As I said, I have many legit copies of games, including all the GTA's as well as Orange Box, CS:S, Crysis and many many more.

Wel thats my two pence, Have a good day.
