Need Frap's help
« on: July 16, 2008, 08:26:36 PM »
Ok well i'v had Frap's for a long while now but it has started to mess up. I used to be recording ingame clip's in 1280x800 res and very High quilty. But now all of a sudden it's gone down to recording much smaller clips. 640x512 clips now and i have no idea how to change it back. Any idea/thought's on how to change back would be greatly apretiated.
Thanks

You must of changed something eathier in the game itself or fraps, well what i can guess you changed something on fraps, AKA fps, or clicked half-size instead of full, or ingame just changed teh resolution or some graphics options, I could be wrong, though.

Set your game's resolution to highest possible (Display Settings), make sure your Fraps is set to "Full Size" from Movies tab, your FPS is 30 in Fraps and your Frame Limiter is on in game's settings, and tick "No Sync" from Fraps's settings.

Also update your video card's drivers if those doesn't seem to work.

It there a difference if No sync is unchecked ?

But yeah make ur sure Full Size is checked, or maybe u use an old version like 2.7.* limited to 1152/864 in 4/3 and 1280/720 in 16/9

Update it

Thank's for all your advice guys. I have sorta got an idea of what has happened. From recording with Frap's on another game the resolution has been changed somehow. I'll try lowering the res on that game and hopefully that will work.

Maybe you could then tell him what it means, if it makes a difference? Kinda pointless to just say yes or no.
