A very easy tutorial on making custom brushes

--------------------

Step 1: For this tutorial, find a design you would like to use as a brush. I'm going to use This. Open it up in PhotoShop

Step 2: Select a portion of the image. I prefer to have a distorted selection, like this:

Step 3: Navigate to Edit > Define Brush Preset. I named mine Abstract/

Step 4: Open the Brush Menu, and scroll to the bottom of the list. Your brush will be there:

Step 5: Done! Here is my outcome:

Doesn't look good, and I doubt you came up with the tutorial's idea yourself? Like the Matrix background, it's tutorials are everywhere.

For example http://good-tutorials.com/search/tutorials/matrix. Try to create something new.

I've seen the tutorials at here. But I have no time to search them now. I will do later when I have time. -__-

Ofcourse you have seen them somewhere else. What you're trying to say is if someone else makes something (Like a userbar), then I make one it's ripping.

Maybe some people on GTAS would prefer to have some tutorials in the forum itself rather than having to search, he's making it easier for members here.

Unless they are pretty damn identicle, you are just being pedantic. Like Blaze said, there will always be similar stuff. I wonder how many tutorials I can get of a GRUNGE signature or something, or how to make a round ball. They aren't all rips and each author has put time aside to make them, so be grateful or DONT POST.

I'm not complaining about ripping or such. The thing that bothers me, is that Blaze "is" the author. In my opinion he shouldn't put the authors name to there at all if he have heard it from his "friend". And god knows, where did his friend saw it. And it is good to have tutorials to the forum, but one thing I would like to see is respect against the people who have originally invented these tutorials.

Small argument, big fight.

Nah it's not a fight or anything man. I see where your coming from, Blaze isn't claiming he thought of the idea or anything, he's claiming he made this particular set of images and text. We all know he didn't invent this method, or make it up himself. I've known this method for years. Just he puts credit to him so that someone doesn't copy the images and text and say they spent the time writing it out.

Anwyays lets leave it that, just if you've seen something similar before, dont post and leave or something, it's not fair on Blaze otherwise.
