if your gonna spend that much money on a graphics card anyways, might as well put the extra cash toward a card with a nice, dual slot cooler, and a card that can do some massive overclocking and increase the FPS quite a bit more. Also has more shaders and stream processors. It's up to him.

It could be quite better yeah but like I said dude, i'm not looking for 1000000000000x99999999999999999 res and 1000000x AA type crap.
I'd be happy if I could run a next gen game with like 800x600 at low settings.

What Fighter said, get a 8600 gt if you are looking for something cheap and good

But if you are on budget, get the 8800 gt
