PSP problems
« on: June 05, 2008, 05:34:59 AM »
My PSP won't read UMDs anymore, it all happened after i gave my PSP to my retarded friend.
Anyways i want to know if there's any way i can fix it.
I insert the UMD and i close that thingy, i don't hear the UMD spinning, only small sounds like "*Tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk*". Sometimes i hear the UMD spinning after inserting but then it stops after a few seconds. Oh and on the PSP where it's written "UMD", that part is kinda pushing out thanks to my friend again. Sorry pictures are taken with a lame webcam.

The analog sticks are available by many firms - look on ebay or amazon. The umd drive is another story.
However, on the old psp the umd drive always stood out at that side (same thing here), you should check the lil metal rays the laser sits on - they might be dirty.

Get your friend to buy you a new one, he fucked it up, he pays it. That's how it works for me, though I never give thinks to anyone else than myself.
