Please Help
« on: April 05, 2008, 02:09:37 PM »
Hello again. I wanted to play GTA San Andreas (PC) and do some stunts yeah? and I click on the game icon, it does nothing for a while then it says "Grand Theft Auto SA requires atleast DirectX Version 9.0"  It had worked fine up until now, so I install Direct X 9.0.......it still doesn't work.

Can somone please help and suggest something which can get the game to work?

~Thankyou for your time, all the best. - Will.

You left me wordless...

Which DirectX did you install? Was it the latest 9.0c version?

Go start-run and type "dxdiag". Test all your hardware/software there.

Ok, thanks guys.  My Vice city works.    But SA doesn't. I'll try re-installing it in a different place. Thanks again.

Vice City uses DirectX 8 so my guess would either you installed the wrong direct x or SA is fucked somehow.
