why the fuck cant i remember the name of it but you can use your harddrive as ram, you do it anyways when your ram is full thats why your pc gets slow as fuck at times. if you have vista you can use a flash drive as a ram like thing

system -> advanced -> prestation properties -> advanced -> change -> select the harddrive you wanna take ram off -> select start size, maximum size -> OK

found out about this a couple weeks ago dunno if it really works.

Isnt the point of RAM that its far quicker to access than a HDD. Otherwise we wouldnt need RAM at all, as all the temporary stuff could be kept on hard drives

not really working if we talk about the hardware thing which we call ram. Basicly any device could be used as ram but it wouldnt give any better speed. The only use for it would be caching big files or something.

thanks, i have 30gb left, i just put 768mb change, and my comp runs alot faster (at least 3x faster) whats the safest maximum amount i can put to make it go faster still?
or is there any consequences from this? (like comp crashing, stuff like that)
