Fraps Wont Record San Andreas Properly
« on: August 11, 2007, 04:08:34 AM »
Can somebody help me out! My fraps is version 2.8.1 Thanks to Blazes FileFront . It came in a .rar format and I sent it to a mate to turn it into .zip format. He did so and I had it ready to install. Install worked fine on both of our computers. He can record and view his recordings, but when I press F9 key to record, I get about 0.5 seconds of black screen and then its all over. The game stays up and running, but when I view my videos folder, the recording is tiny, like stated above. When using the FPS sensor in game, it turns red like usual in game but only for a tiny bit and then goes back to green.

I have searched the internet the last few days and am yet to find something to help me. Can somebody please help??

Well, I thought this too, but I used to record GTA3 before my computer's memory got wiped. It recorded fine, so I don't see why it shouldn't be any different, as the hardware is still the same. My hardware meets the requiremements of Fraps, so do you have any other ideas?

I don't think so, because we both have the same game settings, and I doubt that my San Andreas is the only one in existence to have a Fraps-Barrier in it...
