Iexplorer does indeed stand for Internet explorer, Valikai.
Explorer.exe is basicly your taskbar/icons.

explorer is one of the main component shell programs, it runs the OS in almsot its entirerty (with help from dll's)

Its responsible for browsing windows,, functions within these and all the general aesthetics like taskbar, right-click menus etc.

iexplorer is internet explorer. If iexplorer was part of explorer then ud kill ur pc for a few minutes if ur page dont load

Dude look at memory usage: 39.772 kb. I'm 97% sure that its a virus. I recommend you uninstall fucki*g IE and Kill Bill Gates. BTW First Thing I done after installing Windows, was uninstalling IE. Use Firefox - http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ . Or Opera - http://www.opera.com/
